Wood-fire grills impart a flavor to our steaks and burgers that is about as irresistible as a “Win a Date with Kate Upton” contest. The problem is, by the time the grill heats up, we’ve built up such a hunger that we consume two full cows. Our guts don’t like that. For wood-grilled treats with a bit of urgency no matter where you are, there’s this Portable Wood-Fire Grill available from The Sharper Image. Thanks to the turbo-assisted ventilator, this travel meat sear-er gets up over 1,000 degrees in five minutes. Despite the high temps, the base of the grill stays cool so you can place it on whatever surface is available to you when you crave something charred. $200
Its FINALLY HERE….FINALLY! I honestly believe that through this whole process of doing this, I experienced my very own “Jonah moment”. There were obstacles that came as a result of trying to execute this plan - and procrastination as well as lack of sufficient faith at times had me going in the opposite direction. However, my determination to stick close to God and obey Him has gotten me this far. I’ve learned so much about being a TRUE Christian in 2011 that I have missed out on since birth.
For those still in the dark, I will give you a quick recap. This past January, I demanded God speak to me like He did to all the Bible characters. Things in my life weren’t going as I had planned them, and unlike many of my friends who decided to turn their back on God and the church, I remained in the church. Through a series of dreams commissioning me to minister to others, reading my Bible DAILY ( I cant stress that enough), fasting and intense prayer, and a deep sense of just wanting to get closer to God over the next 7 months; He showed me all of my errors and called me into repentance. God showed me that even though I didn’t leave the church and I was NOT a smoker, drinker, or party-goer, I was JUST a CHURCH-GOING CHRISTIAN. I was NOT forming a true relationship with Him, which is the main objective of a Christian! I cut out all secular distractions (tv, movies, excessive gaming, etc.), and turned away from all the sinful things I partook of (lustful spending, investing in worldly possessions, bending of God’s rules, etc.). I put my focus on God and anything that would enhance my grasp of SALVATION. God then instructed me to go out and tell others of this GOOD NEWS and HIS LOVE FOR ALL, so that they too can be TRANSFORMED into people ready for his Kingdom. This commission birthed The 7th Scroll movement.
Well God, instructed me to start a non-profit organization, in which I spread God’s love through charitable service. The services include FREE transportation, FREE daycare, and a FREE Food Bank. There will also be Christian mentoring. This movement is all about SPIRITUAL GROWTH and not about FINANCIAL PROSPERITY. I am trying my hardest to get to heaven, and I would like every opportunity to spread what God has done for me and can do for others in the process. We are at our infant stages, but ALREADY, I can see God moving!!
I have a date of October 19 to start the FREE transport services, so pray for and with me folks. It is greatly appreciated! This whole movement is based off of FAITH AND PRAYER. I truly die to self daily, which is NOT easy! Leaving the fashion, sneakers, worldly possessions, investing in self, and working for wealth were all things I let go of DAILY and lean on God for EVERYTHING!
I’m so thankful that God has been this faithful to me, and I just want to get this out unto the far reaches of the world. Thank you to all those who have taken the time to read this. I hope you too let God in to understand your true calling in life….

As many of you know, I’m determined to read the Bible in its entirety. Not only has reading the Bible changed my lifestyle dramatically, but its also made all my senses receptive to God’s beckoning call. I started reading the Bible in the Summer of 2009. I started in the book of Daniel, and read through to Revelation. Currently I’m in Genesis. I probably should have finished reading the Bible by now, however, through my stubborn and selfish tendencies of old, I procrastinated to the billionth degree. Since I began getting the revelations from God about The 7th Scroll, I’ve been reading my Bible a lot more.
The point of this reflection is to talk about naming, and its relevance to how we should live. I’ve gathered, especially in Genesis, the weighted emphasis put on naming. During Biblical times, an individual’s name meant more than a title. It wasn’t picked from a baby book or from thin air either. During these times, a name defined character, purpose, and background. Ecclesiastes 7:1 says, “A good name is better than precious ointment, and the day of death than the day of one’s birth.” This verse shows how serious this event is in a person’s life.
As I approached the scene where God re-names Abram in Genesis, I reflected upon my own name. In renaming Abram, God expressed His absolute dominion over all men, and His particular mercy toward those who truly follow Him. Abram was renamed Abraham, his name went from meaning “exalted” to now meaning “prolific”. I believe, God gave a name, even before their birth, to some whom He called for a great purpose.
I decided to check out my own name, “Michael”, which means “Who is like God”. So let me get this straight, before I was even born, God knew that my name would be Michael. He knew about The 7th Scroll. Therefore, my name would not only have to dictate my purpose in life (“Who is like God”), but also to dictate my character (“Who is like God”). That is some mind-boggling stuff right there, just to know that God has given me my charge since before I was born.
To all readers of this blog, although I may not know everyone’s name, God does. He knew your charge in life before you were even born and concealed it in your name. We all have to live for God and be God-like. His Second Coming is upon us! We must be prepared!
