Serves 2
What You Need:
3 cups collard greens
1 banana
2 cups strawberries
3 cups peaches, chopped
2 cups non-dairy milk
What You Do:
In a blender, combine all ingredients until smooth.
Ingredients
2 tbsp olive oil
1 onion diced
1 tbsp minced garlic and ginger
2 tbsp tomato puree
100g rice washed
200 g boiled / canned kidney beans
1 vegetable soup cube
Salt and pepper
2 red chilies diced
1 celery stalk diced
5-6 chestnut mushrooms thinly sliced
Minced parsley for garnish
50g grated soy cheese
Method
1. Heat oil in a large pan. Add onion, garlic and ginger cook for 2 minutes. Add celery, mushroom, rice and stir for 2 minutes till grains are coated with oil.
2.Add stock cube, 200 ml water, salt and bring to boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce the heat, cover and simmer for 30 minutes, until rice is cooked and liquid is absorbed.
3.Add kidney beans, red chili’s. Season with salt and pepper, stir well. Serve them in bowl and garnish with grated cheese and minced parsley.
I previously told you about my dream in January where I was commissioned to hold a big lunch every 7th Sabbath. Since having that dream, I have failed to carry out the dream because of lack of resources. I have been bothered deeply about NOT bringing this dream into a reality. I feel like I’m not playing my part. However, this past Friday night (3/25/11), I had another dream. Sparing you all the extensive details of the dream, I was confronted by my girlfriend in the dream about how I’m using all the excuses in the book as to why I haven’t completed my first dream. I got really upset, and decided to take a walk to cool off. Then, the same voice that gave me the first commission appeared to me as I walked in a park. This time, I was determined to see the face of this voice. My efforts were to no avail….smh. Anyway, the voice told me to tell people about God and to reveal this through a treasure hunt. The treasure hunt not only gets people to delve deeper into their Bible in the hopes of fostering a relationship with God, but also a prize ending would help build a relationship between myself and the participants. So…..get ready yall! Im gettin on this ASAP!
